I just wanted to drop a quick email to all of the team to say how impressed I have been with the level of service and guidance that you gave to me throughout qualifying for my PADI open dive course.

Thank you for staying until 8pm on two occasions for my brother and I to complete the theory and final exam; this was greatly appreciated.

A mention to Andy for being so informative and friendly throughout the course, thank you!

Further, a mention to Peter who assisted us on the Open Water Dives, he made the whole process a laugh and was very helpful- great company to go on a dive with.

A thank you also to Nick who joined us on the last dive- your navigations skills were fantastic!

Finally, a huge thank you to John who made the course more enjoyable that I could have imagined. Without his humour, patience and expertise I doubt I would have passed the course or had as much fun as I did. He was extremely professional and very helpful with any questions that we had. I could not have asked for a better dive instructor so thank you. Thank you for putting up with me!

Having grown up with an irrational fear of deep water and a previous panicked experience of scuba diving at a young age, I approached my diving certification with some apprehension.

However, I immediately realised such hesitation was unneeded with Surrey Dive Centre’s expert tuition. With their help, not only did I take to the water naturally, but I was constantly reassured by their staff’s meticulous attention to safety. So much so that after finishing my Open Water, I immediately progressed onto my Advanced qualification! There’s a unique enthusiasm amongst the dive community that is hard to find with other activities. Surrey Dive Centre represents everything that is great about this adventure sport.

I recently completed the PADI Rescue Diver certification with SDC, having completed a few PADI specialities with them previously.

I had certified my Open Water and Advanced Open Water at other dive centres. I have found the tuition, organisation and safety pales in comparison to the standard delivered at SDC. The dive course was well organised, and the instruction always clear. They are very patient and always welcome questions from the students. One thing that has impressed me is the instructors ability to know how far to push their students so that they can take the maximum from each session, complete the course successfully and walk away with a big smile on their face. This has never been more true for the rescue course. It is very demanding, and physically tiring as you run through various rescue scenarios over the course of the weekend… but I loved every minute of it. It has most certainly boosted my confidence in the water, and I have already signed up to the Divemaster track with SDC. SDC also make sure that each course is never over-subscribed, the instructor to student ratio is always excellent. They also have a number of Divemasters who also participate in teaching the courses, which gives the student access to a wealth of diving experience! What is clear with the instructors at SDC is that they love what they do, and they do their best to make sure you do too! Their kind, thorough and friendly approach gives you complete confidence in your training and safety.

Take a course with SDC and you will absolutely see what I am talking about!

 I would like to thank you to all of the team at SDC for taking me through the referral and the Advanced Open Water courses recently, the training given by all of the team is of the utmost professionalism, with clear and concise instructions, along with a fun and relaxed approach, to the extent that my partner decided to ‘have a go’ and she’s now an open water diver too.
 
Vernon and the team have been a great help with buying new kit for us both, their approach and expertise goes beyond what we’d expected!
 
Each and every dive has been an enjoyable experience, and I’m looking forward to many more dive’s in the future as a club member.

I wanted to take the time to thank you all at SDC for the wonderful time we had under your care and instruction while we did our PADI Open Water Diver course . I really enjoyed it and much of the credit for that goes to you guys.  The diving instruction was very good and due to the almost 1:1 instructor to student ratio, I was surprised by how much safer and confident I felt.

The instruction by you was very clear and calm and the equipment you loaned me as part of the course was top notch and in some respects seemed to be brand new. I also think one of the things that I enjoyed the most was meeting you all and the total professionalism you all showed at all times, especially that first moment when the mask is slipped on for the first time and the head goes in to the water. You really made all of us on the course feel so safe we will definitely be using you for advanced open water and other courses that you offer.

SDC has been great for my introduction to Scuba Diving. The pace at which they teach, the level of engagement (and patience) with the instructors, the quality of the gear are second to none!  I would thoroughly recommend them and along the way have made new friends through the centre!

Took part in an EFR Instructor course on the 8th and 9th March 2014, not normally my favourite sort of course but had a great time with my fellow students, and the Instructor Vernon was fabtastic…can’t recommend the Surrey Dive centre highly enough – if you are thinking of doing a course seek them out!
